"There will be no mercy for collaborators with Russian services. We will destroy any treason and attempts at destabilization," the prime minister said on his official profile on the social network X.

In this message, Tusk directly alluded to the case of a Polish citizen detained this week by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, accused of maintaining ties with Moscow and helping to prepare a possible attack against the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

Similarly, the head of the Polish government echoed the detention of a Belarusian citizen accused of working for the Moscow authorities and who ordered two Poles to assassinate one of the main allies of the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

Poland is one of the main allies of Ukraine, which has been facing an invasion by Russian troops since February 2022, which has already caused tens of thousands of deaths and put neighboring European countries on alert in the face of possible expansionist policies by the Kremlin.
