See What Happens to Your Body When You Drink Coconut Milk Every Day

Coconut milk is an alternative to cow’s milk, but also to other plant-based options. Is it really that beneficial? What happens if you drink it every day? This is what the website EatingWell tried to find out and to do so, they spoke with two dietitians.
"Coconut is mainly composed of carbohydrates and fat. When dietary fat is combined with foods rich in protein and fiber, it helps maintain stable blood sugar levels," explains Bailey Franklyn.

It is also a way to control weight. "Coconut milk has fewer calories, but since it has less protein and carbohydrates than cow's milk, you may end up feeling less satisfied," says Emily Holdorf.
Heart health will also thank you for continuing to drink it frequently. "It is a good source of potassium, a nutrient that helps regulate blood pressure." Another benefit is the reduction of inflammation.
