Coca-Cola workers in Palmela on strike for "decent pay rises"
Workers at the Coca-Cola industrial unit in Azeitão, in the municipality of Palmela, will observe a 24-hour strike on Friday to demand "decent wage increases" and the negotiation of the list of demands, a union source announced today.

The strike, called by the Federation of Agriculture, Food, Beverage, Hotel and Tourism Unions of Portugal (FESAHT), includes all workers of the company Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Portugal Unipessoal, Lda., providing services in all establishments in the national territory.
In addition to salary increases, Coca-Cola workers demand the allocation of overtime pay and the updating of professional categories, as well as "decent salary increases".
According to FESAHT, between 11:00 and 12:30 there will be a picket line at the company's headquarters, in Quinta da Salmoura, in Azeitão.
