Hilton Worldwide Profit Jumps 29% to 248 Million Euros in First Quarter
Hilton Worldwide Holdings said today that it had a profit of $265 million (€248 million) in the first quarter of this year, up 28.6% from the same period last year.

Formerly known as Hilton Hotels Corporation, it is an American company in the hotel sector, headquartered in Tysons Corner, in the state of Virginia, in the United States, having made a profit of 206 million dollars in the first three months of last year, according to the financial agency Bloomberg.
The company's net income in the first quarter of last year amounted to 265 million dollars, or 1.04 dollars per share, compared to 206 million dollars, or 0.77 dollars per share in the same period of the previous year.
Revenue in the first quarter increased by 12.2% to 2,570 million dollars, against 2,290 million dollars in the same period of the previous year.
Founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton, it manages a portfolio of over 5,200 hotels and resorts worldwide.
