They say that the first victory is never forgotten. And this one Lando Norris will certainly not forget. The British McLaren driver won his first Formula 1 victory this Sunday at the Miami Grand Prix.
Dominant on the track, the young McLaren driver offered the Woking team its first triumph of the season and was the first to keep Max Verstappen off the top step of the podium with the Dutchman on the track.
Norris finally achieved a triumph that had eluded him for some time. All the potential that has been recognized in him culminated in this first victory. Will this be a turning point in the 2024 season? The answer will be given in the next Grands Prix. In the meantime, let's stick with the party at McLaren.
