New BMW M4 CS is more powerful, lighter and arrives in July

BMW unveiled the new M4 CS this Wednesday. Positioned between the Competition Coupé and the CSL, the M4 CS can be ordered during the month of May and will hit European roads in July. However, the price for Portugal has not yet been revealed. In Germany, it will cost a little more than 160,000 euros.
With a block capable of delivering 550 hp, the M4 CS has 20 more hp and weighs 20 kg less than the Competition Coupé. The gearbox is an eight-speed automatic with a torque converter and helps the M4 CS reach 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 302 km/h.
It is also important to note that the M4 CS reaches a maximum torque of 650 Nm between 2,750 and 5,950 rpm.
Still on the subject of engine changes, BMW reported that the boost pressure has increased to 2.1 bar and that there are still "other qualities in terms of stability and performance".
Highlight the inclusion of carbon fiber in the roof, hood, front diffuser, front air intakes, mirror covers in the rear diffuser and spoiler. The M4 CS will be available with the special paints Riviera Blue and Frozen Isle of Man Green Metallic.
