Ancelotti makes a last-minute surprise in Real Madrid's squad

Real Madrid announced, in a statement released through its official platforms early on Friday morning, a last-minute change to the squad list for the match against Real Sociedad in San Sebastián.

Jude Bellingham, who missed the previous day's training due to gastroenteritis, has recovered and has been called up for the opening match of the 33rd round of La Liga, in exchange for Rodrygo Goes, who Carlo Ancelotti had announced at a press conference had been diagnosed with flu syndrome.

The English international is, therefore, a 'heavyweight reinforcement' for the merengue team, as he has scored 21 goals and provided ten assists in the 36 occasions he has been called up to participate this season.

Real Madrid, it should be recalled, arrives at this duel in the isolated leadership of the top tier of Spanish football, with 81 points, 11 more than the second-placed team, Barcelona, at a time when there are only six rounds left to play.
