Miguel Oliveira was far from getting direct access to Q2 in the Spanish Grand Prix practice session. The Portuguese rider finished in 19th place after lapping in 1m37.504.
The Trackhouse Racing rider crashed with just over 10 minutes to go in the session, having used his second bike in the final moments of this session.
Miguel Oliveira will thus have to go through Q1 on Saturday morning, unlike Pecco Bagnaia - who broke the Jerez circuit record, Maverick Viñales, Marc Márquez, Marco Bezzechi, Jorge Martín, Pedro Acosta, Aleix Espargaró, Enea Bastianini, Fabio DiGiannantonio and Alex Márquez. These were the riders who secured a place in Q2 on Saturday.
