The Portuguese Navy Ship (NRP) Bartolomeu Dias continues in operation ÁKILA and the Portuguese Navy resorted to social media, this Tuesday, to share some photographs.
The frigate "recently carried out refuelling operations at sea with the supply ship FS Jacques Chevallier, guaranteeing autonomy and availability to support the escort to the French aircraft carrier FS Charles de Gaulle".
"Being one of the crucial points in a task force is its capacity for sustenance at sea", highlights the Navy.
It should be noted that the ÁKILA mission "aims to contribute to the development of interoperability and joint capacities between the European Navies in the context of multinational air-naval forces".
