"Green text messages on iPhones are ruining relationships. Yes, people across the country who don't have iPhones are being excluded from group chats — everything from neighborhood chats to sports team chats to birthday party chats to vacation planning chats," Warren said.
The Democratic senator from Massachusetts went on to call it a "dirty trick" by Apple to "stranglehold the smartphone market."
"Apple has used its smartphone monopoly to lock Americans into its services and rake in billions of dollars in profits," Warren said. "Apple even charges a fee every time you use tap to pay, and it blocked a new app that would have finally let Android users text with blue bubbles on iMessage."
It’s time to break up @Apple’s smartphone monopoly.

Also, c’mon, let’s stop leaving green text people out of the group chats. It’s just not right. pic.twitter.com/pr61Idf9yK
