Smart has presented a prototype of what will be the #5, the brand's largest SUV to date. It will fit into the premium segment and, for now, we can imagine it by seeing the prototype that could be seen for the first time at the Shanghai Motor Show in China.
Exact technical details have not been revealed, but the electrical technology is 800V, which allows for a battery with more than 100 kWh of capacity. This will translate into a range of up to 549 km, and the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.
There is no information about the engines, only that the #5 prototype has five driving modes available.
In the images above you can see the details of the exterior and interior design. Highlight for the cabin with two screens, one for the driver and one for the passenger.
